Tell organized labour we are not fools like them

Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumiah can never stop illegal mining otherwise known as galamsey. Never! Considering all the steps taken by this incompetent government since its inception in 2017 and its desire to fight illegal mining and the accompanying controversies. Only fools will believe them again! Oh yeah! But we are not fools. Maybe, some organized labour are. 😀Let me use this medium to refresh your memory a bit because it is obvious that most Ghanaians have short memory.

Do you recall the establishment of the Inter Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM)? The secretary of that committee was Charles Bissue. Do you remember how he was videoed taken bribe to facilitate illegal mining licenses? Do you remember how president Akufo Addo cleared him of any wrong doing? Have you forgotten Horace Ekow Ewusi, the former NPP regional vice chairman and how he was also indicted by Tiger Eye?

Do you remember how Ekow Ewusi implicated the "almighty" Gabby Okyere Darko, the self appointed prime minister of Ghana? Have you people forgotten how Gabby sued Prof. Frimpong, the then Minister of Environment after the minister publicly stated his refusal to play ball with Gabby on illegal mining?

Who remembers Operation Vanguard? The joint security taskforce set up by president Akufo Addo to help steal our gold? Oh sorry! To help stop galamsey.

How many of you remember Galamstop? The taskforce set up by Prof. Frimpong Boateng to support Operation Vanguard? The anti corruption group which was set up to check another anti corruption group that also became corrupt?

How many of us still remember how the NPP constituency chairman for Amenfi East, Nana Badu, declared that the "Operation Vanguard and Galamstop had become the cash cow for the security services" and therefore must be disbanded instantly? Finally, in what appeared to be a last resort, Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumiah decided to either burn or confiscate excavators from illegal miners. The confiscated excavators started vanishing one after the other giving rise to the notion "flying excavators".

As for Dr. Bawumiah, in his usual incapable driver's mate demeanor, I have never heard him made a single statement on galamsey. I challenge anyone to show me one. Clearly, Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumiah have run out of ideas regarding how to combat galamsey.

So, therefore, I was utterly in shock and absolutely disgusted when organized labour in a press conference yesterday, said they canceled their intended strike because government had given them "blueprint" on how it would stop galamsey. Hahaha! Jokers! The only solution to galamsey is to kick these bald headed guys out of power. Of course we know some of them fear the alternative because the alternative is Mahama and Mahama doesn't tolerate nonsense, not even from his own appointees.

Agama the Big Lizard and the Little Fly part 3

The book Title: Politics of Deceit, Betrayal and Unkept Promises Chapter 1 ending Little Fly: (to himself) ¢500? How? Okay, I can see that Agama actually counted my family and paid me according to our number. Myself, my wife and 3 children, you see we are five in number, meaning each of us will get ¢100 each per month. In a shock I actually phoned Agama with the intent to complain about the money, but he did not respond to the call. Of course, I knew he never picked his calls, not even calls from Mr John Dramani Mahama. I was not bothered. I decided to text him on Whatsapp. Bro, this money is woefully insufficient. Respectfully, can you do something about it? I know we are in opposition so things are a little hard but I was not expecting anything less than ¢1000.
