Politics of Deceit, Betrayal and Unkept Promises 

(It's early morning in Tondoria. Apalahala is washing his motorcycle and at the same time admires his newly acquired Toyota Camry 3.5 horsepower given to him by Agama)

Apalahala: Allah! Lore nga na da kew (this car is very beautiful). My only problem is how I am going to fuel it. Even my motorcycle, sometimes I am left in the middle of the road due to shortage of fuel. This car will definitely require more than just one gallon of petrol. Just look at the stress Agama has put me through.

Ah well! I am not alone in this. Even Aguzu is equally suffering. Hahaha! Sometimes, his car runs out of fuel between three to four times from his house to the office. I can't complain much. Alhamdulillah for everything. At least, this is better than a motorcycle.

(Apalahala learns that Little Fly has lobbied for jobs for some friends in New Tondoria Electoral Area. He informs Agama who is visibly worried that none of the lists he is pushing is successful)

Agama: What at all is happening to me? I can't think far! Hundred days in power and I have not been able to get a single job for any of my constituents, not even a trotro mate job. Hmmm! At least I can console myself with the fact that I have been able to lobby for funds which I have reimbursed to all the electoral areas in my constituency to celebrate my 2024 election victory. If I give them rice and oil, the likes of Little Fly will come out with all sorts of theses to accuse me wrongly, so now I am going to give out money. To hell with Little Fly, mutum banza! I am still giving out rice and oil indirectly. He can do his worse.

All that footsoldiers want is to eat and I am giving them just what they deserve. What do they want jobs for? After all, in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, food is more important than jobs. I will focus on my rice and oil politics. I am still the undisputed rice master in Tondoria. Nobody will compel me to change my style. Victory party is more important than jobs.

Little Fly: Dadaa noaa! Rice party noaa! Nothing new!

Charles Bissue (Secretary, IMCIM) Akufo Addo and Dr. Bawumiah can never stop illegal mining otherwise known as galamsey. Never! Considering all the steps taken by this incompetent government since its inception in 2017 and its desire to fight illegal mining and the accompanying controversies. Don't give up on politics

Never give up! People are observing every action you take; people are observing every word you utter. Few days ago, in a brief conversation with a comrade whose name I will not mention for now, I got to know how other people must have appreciated me without my knowledge. I thank my Creator for that.  I must confess that sometimes it is not easy even for the strongest heart. Some betrayals and disappointments hurt so much so that if you have a faint heart, you may breakdown without ever rising.  Sometimes, you ought to tell yourself you are not into politics for anyone. You are into politics for the good of the country and the people and for those who matter to you. Never let someone's bad attitude towards you push you to give up.
