Sidii Abubakar Appeals to Ghanaians To Vote For John



Comrades, we are facing opponents who have vowed to win at any cost. We are facing opponents who have stated over and over publicly that they will never hand over power peacefully. The only language these opponents understand is violence. As much as we do not condone violence, we ought to prepare our minds for any eventuality. Our founder, His Excellency Jerry-John Rawlings once said, "you pull a gun and I pull a gun, we for sit down and negotiate". This is so true for the situation we are facing today.

The national chairman has set the tone for us, the tone which from all indications resonates with vast majority of Ghanaians who had no option other than tolerate 8 years of political impunity, election violence, abject poverty among other untold acrimony. Yes, until the Ayawaso West Wuogon Committee recommendations are fully implemented, the NDC will not sign any peace pact. There can't be peace without justice. Never!

Comrades, like I said earlier, we are facing a different kind of opponents, hence our approach must be different. One of the many ways we can silent these vicious opponents is to win massively. If we give them huge gap; in fact, if the gap is so huge, that alone will humble them to concede defeat.

I urge the rank and file of the party, to go down to the people and educate them about the 2024 NDC manifesto. So far so good, we are doing so well on social media. Kudos to you all! As much as the social media is helping us, as an organizer, former National Youth Organiser for that matter, I understand the importance of ground work. Let's hit the ground hard, so so hard that our opponents will even give up before the ball is kicked.

Okay, I can see that Agama actually counted my family and paid me according to our number.
